Last week, we decided to support children from the Yakhnytsya special general education boarding school in the Poltava region. It is especially difficult for such institutions now. And although most of the children from other Ukrainian boarding schools were evacuated, children from this school cannot leave Ukraine for various reasons.
First, together with the Fund's permanent partner LLC "Agropromizhiniring", we purchased board games, badminton, hammocks and hanging chairs, balls, art kits and stationery for the school. But, having arrived to the children, we realized that most of all they need our attention.
We spent most of the day playing, learning the rules of all the games, making chairs and hanging hammocks. Pupils of the school, and we were filled with positive and joy after such a wonderful day!
Since our arrival was a surprise for the school management, of course, we did not know about all the needs of this institution. It turned out that, despite the daily efforts of the leadership, Yakhnitskaya secondary school is experiencing a certain shortage of food for children. That is why in the coming days we will meet again with these children! We have already begun searching for and packaging products for school delivery.
