Humanitarian account funds to finance one-time assistance to children with disabilities of subgroup A
Social payments were co-financed through the humanitarian account of the Ministry of Social Policy with international support - within the framework of the UNICEF Ukraine program with the support of the UK Government. This is a one-time payment of UAH 6,5 thousand for children with disabilities of subgroup A. This allowed for targeted assistance to be directed to families who did not receive it within the framework of the Winter Support program. The Ministry is changing its approach to providing social support - assistance should go to those who need it most. After verification of the data by the Pension Fund of Ukraine and the State Enterprise "Institutional Center of the Ministry of Social Policy", almost 8 thousand children from Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odessa, Sumy and Zaporizhia regions will receive appropriate assistance. The funds are received by one of the legal representatives of the child, who is already receiving state social assistance. There is no need to apply or submit additional documents - the payment is made automatically. Families can use these funds for any needs of the child. In total, more than 50 million UAH have already been transferred to the accounts of families.
