System solutions for orphan patients
By the end of 2021, our country will have four laboratories for the diagnosis of orphan diseases in the early stages.
According to Ukrinform , Mykhailo Radutskyi, the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Health of the Nation, Medical Care and Medical Insurance, announced this on Ukraine 24 TV channel. "300 million has been allocated, and by the end of the year there will be four laboratories in Ukraine that will diagnose olfactory diseases at an early stage, " Radutsky said. According to him, the lack of laboratories does not allow to determine the exact number of patients with orphan diseases . "Design and estimate documentation has already been ordered, " Radutsky stressed. Also, according to Radutsky, by the end of the year a new building of the national children’s specialized hospital Okhmatdyt will be put into operation. In total, one regional children’s and adult hospital (a total of 48 health care institutions) will be built or renovated in each region under the "Big Construction" and "Healthy Ukraine" programs.
