On August 18, doctors from the Cherkasy Regional Oncology Dispensary, together with the team of the NDSL Okhmatdyt TCM branch, transplanted bone marrow to 18-year-old Elina Toropenko. There are no donors in the family. Earlier, in order to survive, Elya had to go abroad for crazy money - 110 thousand dollars - either collected by philanthropists or donated by the state. Thanks to the Ukrainian Registry of Bone Marrow Donors , the World Registry managed to find a fully compatible donor with Elya. This is a 19-year-old boy from Germany who agreed to share a piece of himself. At noon on August 18, a box with cages with a courier arrived in Boryspil. Then Cherkasy, check and at 20:00 - start TCM. Almost a month has passed and Ale is being discharged! The donor bone marrow has taken root, the disease has been curbed
Elya leaves the ward and hugs her mother for the first time. She says it was her biggest dream of all time in boxing. And so it came true!

TCM Eli took place entirely at public expense. According to the tariff - 2,484,470 hryvnias.
